Meet Yuishiro Miura! The climber who proved that age doesn´t bring us limits!


It seems that the surname “Miura” have history behind him, his father, Keizo Miura, was a famous skier and climber … but let’s just focus on this great climber who broke records! Yuichiro Miura became the oldest person to reach the summit of Mount Everest in 2003 at age 70. Still waiting for more, ten years later, he beat his own record. On May 23, 2013, Miura climbed to the top of the mountain at 80-years-old.
After four surgeries, he always kept the dream of climbing the day with age and (80) and so did. “If you have a dream, never give up. Dreams come true “, words of Yuishiro after realizing it.
Miura describes his diet as “healthy eating and organic food”. It starts every day with a breakfast consisting of boiled rice, fermented soy, miso soup, eggs and fish. Once a week he treats a steak with about 500g. Kids to train outdoors with 5 kg in each leg and 30 kg in the back for walks of 5.5 km, and also use a room with little oxygen.


When we want our brain to be the most powerful machine in the universe we can do prodigious things! These are the examples we have to look at in order to overcome. Believe, work, focus… even it abdicates to be realized!
